2009 was another record-setting year for Access Worldwide. If you've done business with Access Worldwide over the past ten years, please accept my heartfelt thanks. If you've been involved with our team, please know how much I appreciate your efforts. With this letter I would like to highlight a few things that made 2009 our best year yet. Moving forward, I would like you to know why I believe we'll be even better in the future.

For business mailers, 2009 was one of the most challenging years on record. The US Postal Service and postal administrations around the world reported significant declines in mail volume. But the picture at Access Worldwide is much different. Once again we posted a record year in sales. We reached new heights in mail volume. For the second time in three years we were named to the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing privately held businesses in the United States. As a team, we've grown both personally and professionally.

In 2009 we got bigger - and we also got better. Armed with meaningful input from our customers, we focused our efforts and enhanced our leadership position in the following three areas:

Tools - At our core, we provide cost-effective access to the world's best, most reliable delivery systems. And now more than ever, it's not enough just to move mail around the world. We go beyond simple postal logistics. We stand out from the crowd. Because along with transporting mail and parcels, we also move the information our clients need to save money, increase ROI, and do better business.
